About us

Biobank.ro is being established through the joint efforts of Egnosis, as project leader and technological partner, and Pro-Vitam, as clinical and research partner.

Egnosis is a Romanian SME that delivers state-of-the-art digital solutions in bioinformatics, systems medicine, and healthcare. As a reliable bridge between science and technology, Egnosis strengthens EU-funded Horizon research projects with over 20 years of market-validated expertise in software development, data engineering and AI-driven technologies.

Pro-Vitam is a private clinic established in 2001, with research activities that have gained international recognition. Its team of outstanding specialists has conducted nationally and EU-funded projects in fields such as diagnostic devices, biosensors, nanomedicine, and advanced spectroscopic methods, with results published in leading international scientific journals.
